Coming soon: INVINCIBLES, the story of how the Spanish adaptive surfing team won a historic gold medal

The documentary will revisit, for one hour, the days leading up to this milestone for the Spanish Surfing Federation.

To commemorate March 14, 2020 , the day the Spanish Adapted Surfing Team was proclaimed World Champion, the Spanish Surfing Federation is launching the official trailer to announce the premiere of the documentary “ INVINCIBLES ”.

Exactly one year has passed since the historic achievement of 14 athletes and 6 coaches in Spanish surfing. They all won gold medals; the first ever team world championship for the Spanish Surfing Federation . Adapted sports once again enjoy the support of their participants and institutions.

A piece that will relive the days, hours, and moments leading up to the medal win . Smiles, tears, and the daily lives of these athletes will make us relive the emotion of an achievement that will forever remain in everyone's memory.

“In 2020 nobody knew what was going to happen to us worldwide in terms of adapted sports, such as surfing.

We lived through a media bombardment that lasted for days. Uncertainty and chaos reigned in society and in the media; and, in that scenario, something happened that was overshadowed by the world events that demanded the front pages.

A dark and difficult year for everyone. A year that, almost at its start, gave us a glimmer of hope that for many was a light on the long, dark road that followed.

At the 2020 World Adaptive Surfing Championship, nobody knew what was going to happen to us…
