San Diego was the stage where the Spanish Surfing Federation won its first gold medal as a team. The team, coached by Luis Pérez “Gigi”, Lucas García, Eunate Aguirre, and led by Lourenço Chaves de Almeida, brought back to Spain the first trophy to grace the national team's display case.
A glorious day for some incredible athletes. The blend of youth and experience, combined with the great work of the technical team, ensures that March 14, 2020 will go down in the history books of Spanish surfing.
