EMPOWERED — Alvin and Gallo

Skilled at surfing, skilled at laughing, skilled at living. Five minutes with “Alvin” Bayona and Aitor Francesena “Gallo” are enough to appreciate the limits of human capability. And joy.

Alvin won a bronze medal and Gallo a gold at the ISA World Adaptive Surfing Championship held in San Diego on December 8th and 9th. Weeks earlier, I had the opportunity to meet them and share a very special experience. In this mini-documentary, I present some moments I shared with these two great athletes of the sea.
